Inward focus

If you see yourself as "spiritual" then your focus needs to shift inward for the satisfaction of your needs. With an inward focus there is nothing and no one to blame. When you blame people and situations you are making them your "god", the source of your well-being. People and situations are channels of expression. People make mistakes. Situations change.

Even if you see "God" as outside of you, your point of contact is within your own mind. Thus, to focus within, still applies. It is always about seeing God, or Spirit, as your Source. "The kingdom of heaven is within you."

If this is the case, then our task is to learn to trust. Find a way to be joyful, confident, and at peace now. Act as if you already have everything you need or desire. Things don't really make us happy. They enhance what we already have. What you have is already within you.
